The Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) State-wide Portal provides opportunities for school students to find work placements with employers across Victoria.

Who We Are

OELLEN is a community organisation that aims to empower young people that are disengaged from schools, employment or the Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges areas. We do this through connecting them with educational programs or industry specific training.

Partnering with local services is key to how OELLEN operates. We aim to serve the community by working with local services which improve the regions economy and autonomy.

What We Do

The Outer Eastern Local Learning & Education Network (OELLEN) is funded by the Victorian Government to develop networks with families, schools, and employers to help disengaged youth find valuable education, training, and employment pathways in Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges; and to deliver the Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) program in these three areas. The SWL funding enables OELLEN to engage with local employers to provide placements that are tailored to local priorities and employment opportunities.
