Structured workplace learning

Structured Workplace Learning is on the job training during which a student is expected to master a set of skills or competencies, related to a course accredited by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA). These include Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Schools programs, Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).

Quality workplace learning is structured, in that it:

- has a clearly stated purpose and documented learning outcomes to enable students to gain the skills and understanding to demonstrate competence to industry standards of at least AQF Level 1.
