What is CIMET?

The Careers in Manufacturing, Engineering and Technology (CIMET) program is an OELLEN initiative designed to expand middle years secondary students thinking about career pathways in the fields of manufacturing, engineering, and technology.

Why these industries?:

These are interesting, exciting & challenging industries to be part of that offer a large variety of occupations and career pathways. There is demand in these fields within our region.

The CIMET  program helps students to learn more about these industries and the opportunities available by taking them through a series of industry orientation activities.

Year 9 & 10 students with an interest in STEAM related fields are encouraged to apply to join the CIMET program. A diverse range of backgrounds, genders and experiences are encouraged to participate in this program.
